Chakras are the 7 energy centers in the body.

As popular as this idea may have become by now, very few know about its meaning, even less than everyone can do so through appropriate and simple daily activities such as eating and drinking (tea), balancing it and optimizing the way of life. Our Shoti Maa, which means little mother in Sanskrit, now asks: are your chakras in balance? Following the Ayurvedic tradition of our family business, for which we work with body and soul, we put our teas together with love and expertise according to the principles of the ancient Indian Ayurveda and Chakra teaching and harmonize them harmoniously – with organic ingredients, like petals, seeds, and herbs. Discover your chakra balance and the appropriate Shoti Maa chakra tea in the online test!

Greetings from the whole Shoti Maa team!

1st Chakra: Root chakra

Place and function of the chakra

The root chakra is between the anus & sexual organs; on your perineum.
It is the foundation from which you build. It represents a basic trust in the flow of life and yourself, it embodies your will to live. The first chakra is your root or your base, from this you create security internally and in your surroundings. If you trust in it, the earth will take care of you. At the beginning of your being, from the time of birth, in the phase of life between 0 and 7 years old, you are living in the energy of the root chakra. The root chakra is also called the 1st chakra, base, or Muladhara chakra, and has a grounding effect that helps bring you into the here and now. It is firmly rooted in Mother Earth and gives you courage, strength, basic trust, and warmth. The firm will live and survive: for yourself as an individual and for your personality. Everything physically firm, such as teeth, bones, nails, feet, legs, the spine, and the large intestine, are associated with the root chakra.

Color

The color red is assigned to the first chakra. Strong, warm red stimulates your root chakra. Red conveys courage, strength, and trust. At the same time, it invigorates and warms your whole being. It is the color of strength and vitality.

Balance

When the root chakra energy flows freely, it gives you a feeling of security. Like the lucky happy Buddha, you brave the trials and tribulations which you face and hold yourself with the deep conviction that you are strong and protected. The 1st chakra also symbolizes the seat of the subconscious: your strength, your Kundalini energy, sits here! This is exactly where we want to start with the Shoti Maa Chakra campaign and gently connect you with your other chakras.

Shoti Maa Tee

Our Shoti Maa “Strength & Warmth” tea is created for the root chakra and gives you strong roots that are needed when the storms of life rage around you. The representative is the Hindu god Ganesha, whose picture on the box gives a feeling of warmth through his friendly energy. Our Ayurvedic tea blend with sage, ginger, and elderberry supports you with its strength and warmth and encourages you to take your place in the world.

2nd Chakra: Sacral chakra

Place and function of the chakra

The sacral chakra is located between the pubic bone and the navel at the level of the sacrum, above the genital organs, and approx. 2 cm below the navel. Here your true self is at home: just you with your feelings, your sensuality, your sexuality, and your creativity.
The sacral chakra is about your creative potential, and at the age of 8 to 14 you live for the first time in the energy of the second chakra. You are curious, try it out, and discover the diversity of life. Synonyms for the sacral chakra are also 2nd chakra, sexual, or Svadhisthana chakra.

Color

The color orange supports your 2nd chakra: brilliant orange revives as well as relieves stagnation and solidified patterns. It gives new energy and gets you flowing in the flow of life. So it is obvious that everything physically watery is connected to the sacral chakra, like blood, lymph, tears, sweat, urine, etc. Associated organs are the bladder, kidney, and sexual organs.

Balance

When your 2nd chakra is in harmony, you exude a zest for life and enthusiasm. You are full of feelings, can enjoy pleasure and indulgence. Your life is in the flow!
You are amazed and enthusiastic by life. A curiosity about the unknown fills you. You meet your fellow humans openly and naturally; people with an open sacral chakra are often referred to as “sunshine” because they have retained their happy, childish nature.

Shoti Maa Tee

To balance your 2nd chakra we created the Shoti Maa “ïn the mood” tea. On the tea box, the Hindu god Vishnu looks at you, who helps you to feel the flow and to enjoy the joy of life to the fullest. The color orange expresses this zest for life. We are happy about the magic of the moment and celebrate that we and the world exist. This tea invigorates your senses from the first sip and awakens your awareness of how nice it is to be alive: Orange spoils you with sweetness, hibiscus promises romance, pepper awakens you for the adventure of the now.

3rd Chakra: Navel chakra

Place and function of the chakra

Your navel chakra is located around 2 cm above your navel point. This is the middle of your body; the place where your strength, the source of your willpower,  is at home. Here, in your navel point, your personality and self-control are expressed. The 3rd chakra is all about your personal “power” and self-acceptance. How fitting that you live in the umbilical chakra energy for the first time at the age of 15 to 21: you start to define yourself, and follow your path. The energy of the 3rd chakra is powerful, like fire, which also happens to be the element of this chakra. Furthermore, the color which is associated with the third chakra is yellow. It reflects the light and warmth of the naval power. Clear, sunny yellow activates and strengthens the function of your 3rd chakra. On the other hand, bright yellow stimulates your activity, thinking, and actions,  providing you the inner peace. In addition to the navel chakra, the third chakra is often referred to as the solar plexus or Manipura chakra. All digestive organs such as the stomach, bile, liver, spleen, pancreas and the autonomic nervous system are physically assigned to this chakra.

Balance

When you are centered, and your navel chakra is well supplied with energy, you feel full of life and a high drive. Making it is easy for you to make decisions and have your goals firmly in view and easily achieve them. You take responsibility for yourself and your actions. A balance in your navel chakra also gives you a natural self-confidence and self-respect. The best illustration of a strong navel chakra energy is optimism and inner harmony.

Shoti Maa Tee

Our “little mother” Shoti Maa created the tea “Sanctify” with ginger, fennel & cinnamon to balance your navel chakra. The Hindu god Shiva looks at you from the tea box. Shiva is also considered the god of discipline, who remains immersed in deep meditation in his mountain Kailash. A strong connection to your center will help you in times of hardship to keep your bearings. Spicy ginger, spicy cinnamon, and mild fennel are woven into a gently vibrating blend in this tea. Follow the taste to find your strength!

4th Chakra: Heart chakra

Place and function of the chakra

Your 4th chakra, heart chakra, or Anahata chakra lies in the middle of the chest at the level of the heart. The Sanskrit name is Anahata; which translates as “unharmed, unbeaten or unbroken”. The beat of a pure heart is able to flow lovingly through body and soul. Your heart chakra is the source of unconditional love, irrepressible joy, and deep trust. This is where your inner child is at home. As well as the place where your heart’s desires unfold. Especially in the years between 22 and 28 of your life, you begin to live for the first time in the heart chakra energy: you follow your heart and feel. For example, you start to build your own nest by a partnership or starting a family. You begin to take care of yourself and your heart’s desires.

On the physical level, your Anahata center is associated with hands, heart, arms, lungs, and skin. In addition, the immune system is also considered to be part of the heart chakra.

Color

Happy pink, as well as fresh green, harmonizes your heart chakra: these colors promote hope, trust, romance, and humility. Green is also known as the color of healing. All pink tones delight your inner child.

Balance

With a heart chakra open wide, you are completely in tune with yourself and take on the depth of who you are and your heart’s needs without or buts… Through this love for yourself, inner healing and transformation can take place. This is the basis for a fulfilling love for others as well as for compassion, understanding, and deeply felt joie de vivre. You are free from inner conflicts, doubts, and uncertainty. You see and feel with the power of the pure heart and radiate warmth and happiness.

Shoti Maa Tee

To balance your heart chakra, our Shoti Maa (in Sanskrit “little mother”) created the tea “loving” with refreshing green tea, cinnamon, and orange. From our tea box, you can see the Hindu goddess Devi. Devi is considered the creator and ruler of the universe, she is the creative aspect of the Absolute (Brahman) and universal mother, and is therefore also called “Mata” or “Maa”, mother.

A person who lets his love flow out into the world makes himself the source of happiness. With this mixture of green tea, bergamot, and cinnamon, we refine our perception of the constant presence of love. Because when we smile at the world, it will smile back at us.

Allow Love

Love is beautiful and love is everywhere. It brings peace to our hearts and holds Peace on earth. But before we share the love with someone else, we have to love ourselves. Of course, you can kiss your reflection in the mirror every morning, but if you don’t listen to your thoughts and desires, can you share the love with the world?

We created a mix of hibiscus, rose petals, apple, lemongrass, and cinnamon to present you a delightful red tea with a vibrant flavor. This beverage opens your heart and mind and conveys that loving yourself is the first step in loving others.

SHOTI MAA “Allow Love” is our third step to Peace on earth. It helps you bring love into your life and release your fears. Share in comments what is self-love for you and don’t forget to participate in our Raffle!

Allow Joy

We all become happy when we see our old friend, get a smile from someone or when tomorrow’s plans are canceled and you can spend a few extra hours in bed. We are happy at moments like this, but do we feel joy?

Happiness can be experienced from any activity, food, or company. But joy is a moral lifestyle that makes you connected to people through spiritual experiences, caring for others, and thankfulness. Joy is the style of living.

SHOTI MAA “Allow Joy” is the second step of our Peace on Earth journey. Roasted chicory is a unique plant that unites coffee lovers and those, who do not drink it due to its deep, roasted, and slightly bitter taste and the absence of the actual coffee in the actual beverage.

The mix of herbs and spices surprise and change the perception of daily routine. Maybe using a bike while your car is getting repaired is a good morning exercise instead of a trial?

Have you ever found joy in your daily routine? Share in the comments and don’t forget to participate in our Raffle.

Allow Compassion

We all have long days and sometimes the crazy pace of life can unsettle us. And it is fine because you are developing and learning with it.

However, it is very important to return to your former self, restore strength and inner peace. Get the sensation of connection with all living beings. The main component of SHOTI MAA “Allow Compassion” is green tea. People have been drinking it for a long time, appreciating it for its aroma and beneficial effects. Another element is Matcha green tea, a powder of a specially grown green tea, which gives a drink reach and complex taste. The amazing mix of herbs, spices, green tea, and matcha forms a unique flavor and a calming effect that creates a sensation of connection to all things around you. Share your way of reaching compassion in the comments and don’t forget to participate in our Raffle.
